Born in Bethlehem in the Free State, I spent most of my childhood on the Highveld of Mpumalanga, until eventually settling in the beautiful Lowveld.

For the past 10 years I’ve had the privilege to enjoy farm life and currently also manage a Macadamia Farm just outside White River.  I’ve always loved the outdoors, but here the abundance of wildlife, birds and scenery has truly become my inspiration and focus.

I revel in the simplicity and authenticity of working with the earth and my dream here is to live not only a creative life, but a life of curiosity, self-sufficiency and awareness.  You can also follow my private Instagram account for more on farm life!

Surrounded by my animals – geese, chickens, ducks (most of which have names by now!), my cat, dog and horse – I am happiest.  I am also proud mom of a beautiful son who luckily shares quite a few of my idiosyncrasies and sense of adventure!
